    Sept.11, 2001 - Many Court Officers and other Court personnel helped out at the World Trade Center after terrorists attacked us by crashing 2 planes into the World Trade Center. Capt. William "Harry" Thompson age 51, father of 2 adult sons, a Court Officer since 1974. Court Officers Thomas Jurgens age 26, a newlywed and ex-army medic and Michael Wallace age 34, an EMT, who was on the job only 6 months, are missing and presumed dead. They were helping at at the World Trade Center when the towers collapsed.

    Court Officers are directing the public away from the World Trade Center on Broadway in lower Manhattan.
